SAP Security Consultant - Service Management

Are you experienced in IT Services and eager to leverage your expertise in a leading global organization recognized for its innovative content and technology? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.

In this role, you will be an integral part of a team responsible for the continuous monitoring and resolution of incidents, planning and executing changes, and ensuring compliance across a range of applications and infrastructure centered around SAP Security.

Key Responsibilities

As a SAP Security Consultant - Service Management, your duties will include:

  • Managing the service lifecycle for SAP WRP and S4, with a focus on operational efficiency and service enhancement to guarantee reliability and availability.
  • Collaborating with various stakeholders to establish IT standards (operational, compliance, etc.) for SAP systems.
  • Overseeing, supporting, and enhancing services in line with incident, change, and problem management protocols to ensure smooth daily operations according to IT TR and SAP standards.
  • Engaging in cross-functional collaboration for SAP transformation initiatives, emphasizing continuous process improvement and providing strategic advice on high-value propositions based on best practices.
  • Actively participating in the migration of SAP to S4, including integration considerations for systems related to architecture for modules and technical aspects.
  • Partnering with application development teams to ensure operational readiness for new applications and features.
  • Working closely with business teams, product owners, and project management to define application and process roadmaps.
  • Driving ongoing service improvement and innovation in productivity, software quality, and reliability, ensuring that SLAs are met or exceeded.
  • Monitoring and analyzing key operational and technical metrics for business performance.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent; a degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in English is essential.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in configuration, development, testing, and release processes.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the technologies involved in building and managing distributed application systems, including experience with data center systems and infrastructure.
  • A proven history of success in participating in projects and initiatives, even in situations with unclear details.
  • Strong skills in customer service, problem-solving, organization, and conflict resolution.
  • Extensive experience with IT Service Management and standards.
  • Excellent critical thinking, communication, presentation, documentation, troubleshooting, and collaborative problem-solving abilities.
  • A demonstrated capacity to quickly learn new technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with programming and scripting languages.
  • Comfort in a fast-paced environment, motivated by complex technical and business challenges.
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices.
