Job Summary

The Country Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our business operations in Mexico. This includes driving strategic initiatives, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring our company's goals and objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership
    • Develop and implement business strategies to achieve company goals and objectives in Mexico.
    • Provide leadership and direction to all departments, ensuring alignment with our company's vision and mission.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our company's market presence.
  • Operational Management
    • Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across all business functions.
    • Implement operational policies and procedures to optimize performance and ensure compliance with local regulations.
    • Manage budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation to achieve financial targets.
    • Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, regulators, and industry influencers.
  • Team Leadership and Development
    • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team to drive business success.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
    • Set performance goals and conduct regular performance evaluations to ensure team members achieve their full potential.
  • Regulatory Compliance
    • Ensure all business activities comply with local laws and regulations.
    • Stay informed about changes in the regulatory landscape and adapt business strategies accordingly.
    • Liaise with regulatory authorities and represent the company in industry forums and associations.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and present regular reports on business performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives to the Regional Director and executive team.
    • Use data and analytics to drive decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in similar roles and leadership roles. Proven track record of successfully managing and growing a business in Mexico.
  • Skills: Exceptional leadership and strategic thinking skills. Strong financial acumen and experience managing P&L responsibilities. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
