About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Sdis. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and engage with potential customers, understanding their needs and developing proposals to address their requirements.
  2. Business Development: Develop and execute sales plans to drive business growth, working closely with the engineering team to develop solutions and proposals.
  3. Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, decision-makers, and other stakeholders to build trust and drive business results.
  4. Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities, providing insights to inform business decisions.
  5. Reporting and Communication: Provide regular progress reports to the commercial management team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across the organization.
Requirements
  1. Education: A degree in a relevant field, such as mechanical, electrical, or systems engineering.
  2. Experience: Proven experience in sales, preferably in the automation of intralogistics operations and complex consultative sales.
  3. Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders. Proficiency in Office suite and CRM software is also required.
  4. Travel: Availability to travel within the country and abroad, with a valid driver's license and US visa (if applicable).
