Job Description
Position Objectives:
The Program Coordinator provides operational support to Sales, Account Management, and Operations teams by ensuring completeness and accuracy on all new opportunities. They serve as the primary operational support for developing itineraries, building pricings, finalizing proposals, and coordinating with colleagues in different teams. Goals center around growing sales and maximizing customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Sales and Operations to optimize Program Development functions and ensure appropriate processes, systems, and controls are in place to price and produce high-evaluated, top-quality custom programs with healthy margins and quick turnaround times.
- Support Sales and Account Management teams with itinerary changes, tour customizations, and general destination/product information.
- Act as liaison between Production and Sales/Account Management teams, ensuring internal business rules and product standards are upheld.
- Review, develop, and audit tour requests, ensuring logistical feasibility and accuracy.
- Communicate with clients via phone conversations and emails as requested by Sales and Account Management, maintaining excellent customer service and understanding of client needs.
- Develop and implement new internal processes, rules, and procedures based on the needs of the business.
- Provide support on other projects and tasks as requested by management.
Department Member Responsibilities:
- Maintain knowledge of company policies and procedures to serve as an effective staff member.
- Support company policies and management decisions with a sense of urgency and professionalism.
- Foster communication within the department, with other departments, and with management.
- Participate in internal and external programs that facilitate personal and professional growth.
- Identify and discuss personal and professional growth goals with Team Leader or other management.
- Attend and contribute to team meetings.
