Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training Manager to join our team at IHG Hotels & Resorts. As a key member of our Global Learning team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing performance-enhancing training programs and tools for our brands, hotel operations, and leadership development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training Program Development: Design and develop training programs that meet the needs of our hotel operations, brands, and leadership development.
  • Training Delivery: Deliver training programs to our hotel operations, brands, and leadership development teams.
  • Training Evaluation: Evaluate the effectiveness of our training programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of training consultants and provide guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of our training programs.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including hotel operations, brands, and leadership development teams.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Hotel Management, Business, Education, or a relevant field of work.
  • Experience: 6-10 years of progressive work-related experience in training design and facilitation, with demonstrated proficiency in multiple disciplines/processes related to the position, as well as 2 years prior supervisory or team leader experience.
  • Technical Skills: Demonstrated experience in managing and developing people, including the ability to manage remote staff. Demonstrated knowledge of the Service/Hospitality industry, hotel operations, and systems.
