ZF Friedrichshafen AG is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Accountant to join our Shared Services team in Mexico. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our payroll processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Run calculations for weekly, biweekly, and monthly payroll processes
  • Process special payroll events, such as Christmas bonuses and profit sharing
  • Generate reports and distribute payroll information to employees
  • Review earnings, deductions, and benefits calculations
  • Provide support to employees and management on payroll-related matters
  • Ensure compliance with Mexican Federal and State laws regarding payroll
  • Verify accuracy of time and attendance data and other payroll interfaces
  • Meet reporting deadlines and adhere to ZF accounting policies and practices
  • Calculate and prepare payroll taxes (SUA, State, Federal)

Requirements:

  • Accounting, Administration, or Finance degree
  • 3-4 years of experience in payroll processing
  • Experience with USA and Canada payroll processes is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Knowledge of People Soft, SAP, and QAD systems is preferred
  • Strong experience in internal controls
  • High legal and ethical standards
  • Ability to multitask and set priorities
