Lead Sales Strategist for Travel Tech

Voyagu, a pioneering travel agency based in the US, seeks an experienced and visionary Lead Sales Strategist to spearhead its inside sales organization in Mexico City. This dynamic role offers a unique opportunity to drive revenue growth, lead a high-performing team, and shape the company's sales strategies.
As a seasoned sales leader, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve company revenue goals. Your expertise in scaling sales teams, fostering a high-performance sales culture, and driving customer success will be invaluable assets to our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company revenue goals.
- Scale the inside sales team from initial hires to a full team of 50 sales professionals.
- Foster a high-performance sales culture focused on customer success and continuous improvement.
- Team Management:
- Recruit, train, and mentor sales agents, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge to succeed.
- Identify and develop high-potential team members for leadership roles.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Sales Operations:
- Oversee daily sales activities, ensuring targets and KPIs are met or exceeded.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
- Implement sales processes, tools, and technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Analytical Reporting:
- Utilize data and analytics to monitor sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management, highlighting successes, challenges, and recommendations.
- Analyze market trends and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Ensure exceptional customer experience throughout the sales process.
- Handle escalated customer issues and provide solutions promptly.
- Compliance and Ethics:
- Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and legal regulations.
- Promote a culture of integrity and ethical behavior within the team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of scaling and managing large sales teams (preferably around 50 people).
- Demonstrated success in promoting team members into leadership positions.
