About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Regional Sales Strategist to join our team at Penumbra in Latin America. This exciting opportunity will involve growing our sales and customer satisfaction in Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central America.

Responsibilities
  • Develop strong relationships with existing hospitals, labs, and customers to drive business growth.
  • Pursue and establish connections with potential customers to convert them into loyal Penumbra clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product availability, delivery dates, and inventory levels meet customer expectations.
  • Maintain open communication channels with current and prospective customers regarding programs, promotions, pricing trends, and new product offerings.
  • Expand account penetration by securing orders for new and existing products and services.
  • Become a trusted advisor to physicians, lab staff, and purchasing personnel through relationship-building and strategic support.
  • Travel regularly to support position and product line needs, including international travel as required.
  • Complete special projects and assignments as directed.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Biology, or a related field, along with 5+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years in medical device sales, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience managing distributors and driving business growth.
  • Creativity, innovation, and a passion for delivering exceptional results.
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to interact effectively with senior leadership and all levels within the organization.
  • Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is $120,000-$150,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, you can expect a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and opportunities for professional development.
