About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Partner Marketing Lead to join our team at Canonical. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic partnerships with global partners to drive business growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Partner Marketing Teams: Manage and lead a team of Partner Marketing Managers to develop and execute marketing strategies that drive partner sales and revenue growth.
  • Grow Partner Sales: Develop and execute integrated partner marketing programs to grow partner sales across system integrators, public cloud, device manufacturers, and semiconductors.
  • Marketing Campaigns: Design and execute scalable and efficient marketing campaigns to drive Canonical products and build marketing frameworks that can be leveraged globally.
  • Co-Marketing Programs: Grow the value proposition of co-marketing programs for current partners and attract new partners to drive business growth.
  • Marketing Consistency: Drive marketing consistency among partners to ensure the Ubuntu brand and value proposition are accurately and professionally represented.
  • Partner Relationships: Establish and support relationships with partner sales, channel, and marketing teams to improve partner sales potential for Canonical products, services, and technologies.
  • Co-Marketing Strategies: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of partner business strategies and objectives, and craft co-marketing strategies and programs that benefit both Canonical and partners.
  • Business Development: Advocate for mutual business development and help build customer demand for partner products that will grow sales.
Requirements
  • B2B Marketing Experience: Proven experience in B2B marketing and experience working with strategic corporate partners to develop co-marketing initiatives.
  • Enterprise Software Experience: Experience in enterprise software, SaaS, or silicon preferred.
  • Customer/Partner Relationship Management: Strong customer/partner relationship management skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Proven analytical skills, able to assess opportunities and make decisions on ROI/advantages of programs and investments.
  • Results-Oriented: Track record of delivering strong results and innovation.
  • Growth Mindset: Growth mindset - someone who is not afraid to think big and take on risk.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work and thrive in a self-starter, fast-paced, and changing environment.
