About the Role

The Community Operations organization at Uber is responsible for delivering exceptional customer support to drivers, ensuring a seamless experience across the platform. Our team aims to build strong relationships with drivers, addressing their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality customer support to drivers through various channels
  • Resolving issues promptly and efficiently using established procedures
  • Facilitate driver sign-ups and communicate the benefits of driving with Uber
  • Engage with drivers to enhance their overall experience and encourage retention
  • Collaborate with management to improve support processes and policies
  • Participate in local events and promotions to foster positive relationships with drivers
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including drivers, management, and other teams

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in retail, hospitality, or similar industries
  • Strong attention-to-detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Empathy and ability to work with diverse groups of people
  • Punctuality and organizational skills
  • Active listening and adaptability
  • Teamwork and conflict resolution skills

Salary Estimate: $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
