About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist to join our team at Boston Scientific Gruppe. As a Clinical Specialist, you will be responsible for promoting our medical devices through education and training of healthcare professionals, as well as providing clinical support and troubleshooting services.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial Support: Provide primary clinical support to customers, including troubleshooting, counseling, and patient follow-up for our medical devices.
- Educate Customers: Educate healthcare professionals on the merits and proper clinical usage of our medical devices through presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions.
- Field Execution: Execute day-to-day field activities, including attending unit procedures, following up with patients, and developing business relationships with hospital personnel.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with sales representatives to identify customer needs, goals, and constraints, and to discuss and demonstrate how our medical devices can help them achieve their goals.
- Problem-Solving: Respond to customer needs and complaints regarding our medical devices and services, and develop creative and feasible solutions or work with other personnel to develop optimal solutions.
- Training and Education: Provide initial and continuous training, education, and support for clinical center personnel on clinical trial protocol, clinical process, products, and features under investigation.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree required, preferably related to healthcare.
- Experience: 1+ years relevant business experience.
- Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proven analytical, planning, and negotiation skills, as well as strategic thinking.
- Initiative and Creativity: High degree of initiative and creativity with the ability to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision.
- Language: English (Advanced level) spoken and written, at least 80%.
- Travel: Availability to travel (60%).
Preferred Qualifications
- Biomedical Engineering Degree: Desired Biomedical Engineering degree.
- Medical Device Experience: Medical device experience and/or endoscopy experience.
- Clinical Specialist Experience: Experience as Clinical Specialist.
- Hospital Experience: Experience with hospitals and in-office selling.
- Presentation Skills: Ability to present value proposition incorporating both financial and clinical impacts.
