We are seeking an Electric Power Steering (EPS) Product Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assume ownership of designated projects, demonstrating entrepreneurial spirit with full accountability for planning, tracking, and managing actions to meet established quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) objectives.
  • Familiarize and comply with ZF CVS project management protocols (WCM, PEP) and quality standards (APQP, CQP, VDA 6.3, etc.), effectively translating customer specifications into ZF CVS project management processes.
  • Manage the BC PEAR and take responsibility for the project budget, optimizing financial contributions for ZF CVS.
  • Contribute to operational planning for the project portfolio, ensuring alignment with stakeholders, achieving productivity goals, and identifying opportunities to address gaps while considering future initiatives.
  • Initiate and oversee financial recovery strategies in the event of operational deviations.
  • Meet critical deadlines for customer reimbursements and proactively identify potential financial claims from customers or suppliers.
  • Develop and maintain a realistic and cross-functionally aligned project timeline to achieve QCD targets in accordance with agreed-upon requirements.
  • Anticipate and manage project risks, employing effective problem-solving techniques and holding team members accountable for resolving issues within their respective areas.
  • Manage the interests of both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Travel may be required up to 30-50% of the time.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or a degree in Business/Management.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Purchasing or Project Management within the Automotive sector.
  • Proficient understanding of Project Management standards and systems (PLM, Planisware, C-Place).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Expertise in Project Management (planning, controlling & monitoring, risk assessment, change request management, quality management).
  • Strong entrepreneurial skills (customer focus, decision-making ability, managing complexity).
  • Leadership capabilities (team collaboration, adaptability to change and innovation, results-driven).
  • Strong social and interpersonal skills (effective communication, relationship building, conflict resolution).
  • Valid American Visa and Passport required.
