• Oversee the scheduling, coordination, and resolution of shipments to fulfill both internal and external customer needs.
• Engage in carrier tendering utilizing the Transportation Management System (TMS) - specifically BluJay.
• Analyze the ERP system (SAP) for outstanding sales orders and facilitate shipment creation.
• Conduct order pick reviews, assign work, and implement WMS corrections as necessary.
• Examine and interpret shipping reports.
• Report discrepancies or issues to management, quality assurance, or other warehouse staff.
• Compile necessary documentation to accompany shipments, including Bills of Lading (BOL's), Certificates of Analysis (COA's), and Advanced Shipping Notices (ASN's).
• Participate in departmental and plant meetings relevant to warehouse operations.
Qualifications and Skills
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in a logistics planning capacity, or equivalent higher education, with knowledge of SAP being advantageous.
• Familiarity with SAP and TMS is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and task-oriented mindset.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude consistently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel) at an intermediate to advanced level.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Self-motivated and independent.
• Demonstrates a quick learning ability.
• Strong skills in influencing, negotiating, and communication.
