Internal Communications Analyst

The Global Internal Communications team at Cemex relies on a skilled Internal Communications Analyst to support the implementation of employee communication strategies and initiatives. This role involves providing raw and processed data to inform decision-making, project planning, and execution. Working under the supervision of an advisor, the IC Analyst will develop and implement internal communication strategies, ensuring consistent and effective messaging across the organization.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Communication Support: Assist in developing and implementing internal communication strategies to ensure consistent messaging.
  • Event Coordination: Support the planning and execution of company events, including Annual General Meeting, Cemex Day, and Quarterly Calls.
  • Data Analytics: Collect, process, and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of internal communication strategies and initiatives.
  • Project Support: Assist with project planning and management to ensure timely and successful execution of communication initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with various departments and teams to gather information, coordinate efforts, and ensure alignment in communication activities.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative duties, including scheduling meetings, maintaining records, and managing communication tools and platforms.

Position Challenges:

  • High-intensity work schedules when supporting key company events.
  • Ensuring consistent communication across multiple time zones and cultural contexts.
  • Integrating and analyzing large volumes of data to measure communication effectiveness.
  • Coordinating logistics for live events and ensuring flawless execution.
  • Keeping communication content engaging and relevant for a diverse, dispersed workforce.

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in Spanish and English (speaking and writing proficiencies)
  • Proficiency in data collection and analysis tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with digital communication platforms and content management systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Prior experience or internships in communications, marketing, or a related field are preferred but not required.
