Job Overview

The On Premise Activation Specialist is a key role within Constellation Brands, responsible for driving sales growth at On-Premise retailers in an assigned geographic area. This dynamic individual will partner with the On Premise Development/Activation Manager to set priorities and execute the business plan for On-Premise accounts in their region of responsibility.

About the Role

This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with owners and managers of On-Premise accounts within the designated area. The successful candidate will maintain and expand sales of the Constellation portfolio through effective execution of On-Premise promotional activities in key accounts. Additionally, they will provide support and follow-through for National and Regional On-Premise account programming as directed by the On Premise Development Manager.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and sustain strong relationships with On-Premise account stakeholders.
  • Foster sales growth of the Constellation portfolio through targeted On-Premise promotional initiatives.
  • Support National and Regional On-Premise account programs as directed.
  • Collaborate with the On Premise Development Manager to create annual business plans, including sales, distribution, and promotional strategies.
  • Identify and activate new On-Premise retailers that align with Constellation's target demographic.
  • Liaise with wholesalers to implement draft beer initiatives in the designated area.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of promotional activities and suggest improvements to enhance sales results.
  • Review and recommend pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness in the market.
  • Provide point-of-sale materials and training/education to key accounts.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings with wholesaler on-premise management teams.
  • Submit sales reports as requested and provide market intelligence.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (in lieu of degree, minimum four years' sales experience with a malt beverage supplier or wholesaler).
  • Minimum two years' retail sales experience in the Beverage Alcohol Industry.
  • In-depth understanding of the On-Premise retail environment.
  • Proven track record in building strong customer relationships.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
  • Proficiency in software applications, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Benefits
