People Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced People Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team in Mexico City. As a key member of our People Operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our employees and ensuring the smooth operation of our HR processes.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the onboarding and offboarding processes for all employees in Mexico, Argentina, Chile, and the US, ensuring a seamless experience for our Wellhubbers.
- Collect and verify information from new hires, process leave requests, and ensure accurate and timely submission of documents to payroll processing.
- Collaborate closely with the Payroll team to ensure timely and accurate monthly payroll information.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for benefits providers, handling inquiries and requests related to health insurance, meal vouchers, and other benefits.
- Oversee the receipt, accuracy, and timely payment of invoices related to People Ops and benefits services.
- Foster a positive company culture by coordinating and facilitating employee engagement activities and initiatives for SSLatam and US.
- Provide exceptional support to office employees and vendors, addressing operational needs, communicating policies, and ensuring compliance with people practices.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide excellent People Operations support and engage in various People Team activities.
- Continuously improve processes and suggest new ways of working and collaborating with ideas.
- At least 2+ years of experience in Human Resources, Payroll, or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Administration, or a related field.
- Knowledge of local labor laws and practices is desirable.
- Fluent Spanish and Advanced English are a must.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter with strong multitasking and adaptability skills.
- Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish strong cross-functional relationships.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
- Experience in a tech company is a plus.
