About the Role

As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing technical support for HP's Commercial portfolio of Print products, services, and solutions. Our team is diverse and collaborative, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Highlights

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing technical recommendations and guidance on HP Print offerings
  • Responding to and tracking technical questions from internal or external requestors
  • Presenting the advantages of HP's Print products and solutions
  • Assisting sales representatives in responding to customer requests (RFI, RFP, RFQ)
  • Supporting sales opportunities with in-depth technical understanding of HP's offerings
  • Providing support on the status of technical and environmental regulations
  • Delivering training to other departments about Print products and solutions
  • Managing technical escalations and providing proactive technical updates to the sales community
  • Collaborating with various technical resources as needed
  • Maintaining a high level of service quality and total customer experience

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Advanced proficiency in spoken and written English
  • Proficiency in another language is advantageous
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in a technical or engineering field
  • Current experience and knowledge in printing technologies, hardware, operating systems, software, and networking technologies
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and team skills, with troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Self-motivated with the ability to operate with minimal tactical direction
  • Demonstrated motivation to seek knowledge and continuous learning
  • Typically, minimum 3 years of relevant work experience

Career Path

This role serves as an entry point in the Presales community, providing opportunities for advancement within the team or country. Potential evolution includes becoming a Team Lead, or Supervisor. In the WW community, progression to Expert team member or Senior Country Field TC is achievable. Other moves to different departments within the company are also possible.
