Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers to collect receivables based on assigned queues.
- Document customer contact notes and other relevant collections activities to ensure accurate records.
- Maintain accurate records for customer payment status, ensuring timely and efficient collections.
- Perform customer account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Review and send periodic customer statements of account, addressing any undelivered emails and updating customer records accordingly.
- Collaborate with the Accounts Receivable team to address customer statements feedback and resolve issues.
- Provide feedback to the Accounts Receivable team on bad debts and debt write-offs, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Support the Accounts Receivable team in resolving payments allocation queries and other customer-related topics.
- Work closely with Credit Management teams to manage credit limits and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Escalate issues and disputes to senior management, as necessary.
- Perform collections activities in accordance with SGS Collections' Policy, ensuring adherence to company standards.
- Engage with customers and prospective customers to discuss collections and credit management strategies.
- Support the preparation of monthly KPI reports, analyzing results and discussing findings with stakeholders.
- Ensure Collections' KPIs are met, driving business growth and revenue.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance.
- 2+ years of experience in collections activities and/or accounts receivable.
- Advanced English language skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
