About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Director to join our team in Mexico. As a key member of our commercial leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing key growth sales strategies, tactics, and action plans to maximize long-term BIC brand volume while achieving annual sales and profit goals for the Mexico Region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create strong relationships with key client stakeholders at both senior and mid-management levels
  • Work closely with colleagues on cross-territory opportunities and other internal teams on marketing materials and cause studies
  • Understand the competitive landscape and market trends
  • Understand and effectively communicate the company's value proposition, tech, process, and current partnerships
  • Determine annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies; analyzing trends and results
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products
  • Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors
  • Establish and adjust selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand
  • Complete national sales operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results
  • Maintain sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees. As well as counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (master's preferred) in Communications, Business Administration, Business Management, Marketing, or any other related field
  • 8+ years of experience working with large multi-site and multi-Channels (Traditional and modern channel experience are required)
  • Experience of leading a sales team, with proven results of successfully implementing contracts
  • Proven successful track record in sales, with an understanding of the strategic approach to long-term objectives, and the strength of commercial returns from a partnering approach
  • Results-driven, possessing a proven track record of delivering against targets
  • Strong business development and organization skills
  • A solution-focused approach to team and stakeholder problems, who can lead by example
  • Strong communication skills both internally and externally, with the ability to influence and debate at senior levels, in order to get the right result
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and get the best out of a team, proven with experience
  • Previous experience of leading a large multi-skilled team, with the ability to coach, guide, and be a knowledge base in commercial, marketing, and communication
