We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Director to lead our Sales team in Mexico and Chile. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth across all relevant sales market segments, including consortia, leisure, and MICE.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic plans to source, drive, and grow revenue across all relevant segments, constantly monitoring results and adjusting strategies and activities to meet objectives and targets.
- Manage and lead a small team from recruitment and induction through to team development, encouraging a highly proactive and high-performing environment that ultimately allows the team to deliver on objectives.
- Provide local market knowledge to stay ahead of the competition and collaborate with key teams to ensure key information and insights are shared and strong relationships are built.
- Manage a portfolio of accounts, taking the lead on rate negotiations and account management activities while ensuring we maximize our market share.
- 5+ years' experience in a mid to senior sales role within the Mexican market.
- An all-rounder with leisure, MICE, and social sales experience.
- Passionate about hotel sales and goal-driven.
- A strong team leader with the ability to manage and inspire others in a way that gets the best out of them.
- Combines analytical and methodical thinking with high attention to detail and a solution-focused approach.
- An excellent relationship builder with the ability to work with other teams and leaders.
- Fluent in both verbal and written English and Spanish.
