About the Role

CMA CGM is a global leader in shipping and logistics, serving over 420 ports worldwide. We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Support Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional support to internal and external sales executives, ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution.
  • Transmit customer service issues to the relevant teams for prompt management.
  • Assist executives in entering contract lines, tenders, and negotiation of terms and conditions.
  • Support the development of assigned portfolios and commercial management strategies.
  • Plan and conduct follow-up calls with clients to ensure satisfaction and growth.
  • Promote non-maritime services to clients, including VAS, CEVA, e-commerce, and intermodal solutions.
  • Attend and participate in training, webinars, and courses to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Collaborate with trade and other areas of the commercial department to share market information and best practices.
  • Centralize and escalate topics reported from Myprices/Spot On to the team leader.
  • Follow up on booking issues related to routes or freight, ensuring accurate system reflection.
  • Stay informed about vessel capacity, service rotation, and general route information.
  • Identify and escalate duplicate codes in customer systems to Sales Effectiveness.
  • Notify relevant parties when a client accepts a proposal or contract.
  • Request exceptions for delays and detentions in the system.
  • Promote the use of Myprices/Spot On.
Requirements
  • Degree in International Commerce, International Business, or equivalent shipping experience.
  • Good knowledge of the shipping industry, customs operations, and port operations.
  • English proficiency (80%).
  • Basic knowledge of import and export processes.
  • Excel and Outlook skills.
  • Familiarity with the CMA CGM Corporate Internal Mobility guidelines.
