Within our diverse team, you'll collaborate with professionals from various industries and backgrounds who share your passion for innovation and risk management.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the risk team to develop and implement strategies that maximize access to credit for our customer base while minimizing financial losses.
  • Promoting improvements in Solvento's credit policies through data analysis and developing policies and underwriting journeys to achieve these goals.
  • Creating decision models that account for risk and collaborating with the Tech team to implement them.
  • Designing and managing risk management strategies focusing on credit risk based on analytical assessments of operations.
  • Monitoring portfolio performance, KPIs, portfolio data, early indicators, market trends, regulatory requirements, and macroeconomic factors impacting loan performance and delinquency levels.
  • Forecasting our performance and driving adjustments to our underwriting and origination strategies to mitigate risk.
  • Chairing the risk committee to lead and implement the committee's agenda, indicators, and risks.
  • Meting with external stakeholders (lenders, investors, regulators, etc.) to explain Solvento's risk methodology.
  • Collaborating with business leaders to provide analytical assessments of their operations and tools needed to manage those operations.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A proven track record in risk management within operationally intensive lending companies.
  • In-depth knowledge of predictive analytics, cash flow analysis, and Net Present Value-based decision making.
  • Extensive experience in credit modeling, pricing, and data science.
  • A background in leading credit risk teams, overseeing financial modeling, analysis, and reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
  • A senior professional with over 10 years of experience.
  • Experience in leadership roles, strategic planning, and operational management.
  • The ability to build and organize processes.
  • A hands-on approach and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced English proficiency.

Solvento offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as additional benefits such as health insurance, vacation time, Gympass, and more.
