As a Principal Support Engineer at Oracle, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and technical support to our global customer base. Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and solutions to customers via phone, email, and electronic means
- Resolve post-sales non-technical customer inquiries and technical questions regarding the use of Oracle's Electronic Support Services
- Facilitate customer relationships with Support and provide advice and assistance to internal Oracle employees on diverse customer situations and escalated issues
- Offer strategic technical support to assure the highest level of customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Experience in the accounting lifecycle with knowledge of common enterprise structures setup, transaction processing, financial reporting, interfaces, period close processes, and activities
- Knowledge of Oracle Hyperion Essbase Cube, Smart View, and Financial Reporting Workspace
- Support or consulting experience with Oracle Financials or other ERP financial solutions
- Excellent customer service skills, with ability to handle difficult or sensitive situations with diplomacy and tact
- Very good verbal and written communication skills, with bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- Desired technical skills include ERP applications, OBIEE, OBIA, BI Publisher, OTBI, Oracle Essbase or Financial Reporting, application server architecture, Java, XML, SQL, and PL/SQL
- Ability to analyze details, log/trace files, and work with incomplete or ambiguous data to fix issues
- Experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) application and excellent communication skills
