Our Team

The Amazon Business Solutions Consulting team is dedicated to understanding our customers' source to pay processes and systems. We blueprint solutions that make it easier to buy on Amazon Business. Our team establishes technical and functional credibility in sales cycles and conveys best practices and prescriptive guidance for procurement processes and system design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with the largest and most complex customers, consisting of the Fortune 500.
  • Gain a deep understanding of our customers' source to pay processes and systems to ensure we can provide a viable solution that meets their goals with Amazon Business.
  • Recommend solutions to help customers adopt complex business features.
  • Identify potential risks / gaps and propose potential workarounds.
  • Work closely with the sales team to provide status updates and insights learned during discovery with the customer.
  • Relay market needs and requirements back to internal Amazon teams including Product Management, Technical, and Category Management teams.
  • Collaborate and influence key internal Amazon stakeholders.

About the Role

The Solution Consulting teams sit within the Amazon Business Professional Services (ProServe) organization. Our mission is to accelerate our Customer's success, adoption, and spend. We accomplish this by guiding their journey with tools and services while building their confidence with insights and trusted resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 3+ years of sales or marketing work (like e-commerce, retail technology, SaaS) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience translating customer needs into business requirements.
  • Experience positioning and selling innovative solutions to new and existing customers and market segments.
  • Knowledge of procurement, procure to pay (P2P), and source to pay methods at enterprise businesses.
  • 2+ years of B2B implementation or services delivery experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience influencing at all levels within an organization, particularly at the executive level.
  • 5+ years of implementing procurement and source-to-pay processes and solutions for enterprise customers.
  • Experience with change management.
