Job Summary

This first-level staff assignment position involves learning and assisting others while building sales support knowledge. The incumbent will learn to become a commercial support resource for the Americas regional team, becoming increasingly familiar with the company's processes, systems, and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regional events support
  • Salesforce CRM support
  • Progressive update of site performance coverage list of fleets and results of the fleets performance
  • Competitive analysis
  • Sales forecast
  • General regional support to align with the new Customer Strategic Approach strategy

Accountabilities

This position represents the division on issues related to overall commercial and fleet performance in the territory. Key accountabilities may include:

  • PINS trend analysis
  • Demand fluctuations
  • Basic customer requirements

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2+ years of industry experience (mining and/or construction)
  • Basic commercial understanding and industry clients
  • Commercial judgment, analytical skills, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently

Preferred Skills

The following skills are preferred but not required:

  • Knowledge of Caterpillar product line, Caterpillar dealer organization, and customers
  • Excel Advanced
  • Salesforce
  • PowerBI

Estimated Salary Range

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
