The Role

We are seeking an experienced Market Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales and partnerships team, you will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, managing an efficient sales funnel, and increasing our partnerships in the assigned territories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth and expand our partnerships in the assigned territories.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hotel partners, ensuring continued use of our service and increasing key metrics.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales and partnerships initiatives.
  • Provide regular sales reports and insights to inform business decisions.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of successful track record in B2B sales and negotiation in the hospitality/travel industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Advanced interpersonal skills for building and developing relationships with partners.
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Tenacity and drive to seek new business opportunities and meet or exceed targets.
  • Passionate, committed, and results-oriented with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Self-motivated and hands-on with a true teamwork mentality.
  • Digital native: fluent in web and digital technologies.
  • Ability to analyze sales figures and write reports.
  • Uncompromising attention to detail.
  • Ace problem-solving skills.
  • A friendly and upbeat personality.
