Nexeo Plastics is a leading provider of plastics distribution services, and we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Account Manager to join our team.

Job Summary

The Account Manager will be responsible for delivering profitable growth in a defined territory by providing solutions to current and prospective customers. This will involve building strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and objectives, and developing and implementing strategies to drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute territory plans to achieve sales growth targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and objectives
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth and profitability
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination
  • Manage and analyze sales data to inform business decisions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business or engineering
  • 5-8 years of experience in plastics distribution sales or a related industry
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) is required
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Proven track record of delivering consistent and long-term growth
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented collaborative environment
