About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Service Designer to join our team at PepsiCo. As a key member of our digital development team, you will be responsible for creating and supporting global digital developments for our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the entire design process of our digital products and services, from initial research to testing and validation.
  • Plan and conduct primary and secondary research, synthesizing findings to provide recommendations for new solutions.
  • Apply Human-Centered Design and Service Design Thinking approaches to guide the discovery and production of low-fidelity and high-fidelity deliverables.
  • Plan and co-facilitate workshops to identify and solve complex problems.
  • Create project deliverables, such as low and high-fidelity UI prototypes, project plans, and design using a Design System.
  • Coordinate work activities with digital teams, business teams, and other IT services as required.
  • Communicate with business stakeholders and influence product teams through data-based recommendations.
Requirements
  • Deep understanding of Service Design and UX Design disciplines, with proven experience in implementation and facilitation of the overall design process.
  • Experience with industry-standard design and research tools, such as Figma, Adobe CC, Sketch, and InVision.
  • Experience in designing, building, and managing a Design System across our ecosystem of products and services.
  • Strong communications and organizational skills, with the ability to deal with ambiguity while juggling multiple priorities.
  • Experience with Agile and SAFe methodology for team work and analytics 'product' creation, including Azure DevOps, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Experience with creating a project vision, execution, and overall quality.
  • Experience with planning and conducting user research and user testing sessions, including moderator guides to generate artifacts from synthesis.
  • Experience advocating a User-Centric Design approach to understand user needs, pain points, and desires.
  • Experience in designing responsive digital products, with a strong focus on mobile, both native and hybrid.
  • Experience with workshop planning and facilitation.
