Business Development Manager

At Element Fleet Management, we're seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for the relationship of current customers and the generation of new leads through prospecting different potential customers within risk acceptance criteria to meet origination, revenue, and services goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Generate new business and share of wallet opportunities with customers and prospects.
• Identify needs and develop proposals with Element's value-added services.
• Coordinate the end-to-end sales process for new customer onboarding, including risk underwriting, customer visits, contract negotiation, and implementation processes.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of relevant business experience.
• Post-secondary education preferred (BA/BS or MBA).
• Proficient in English language (both written and oral).
• Experience within the vehicle management or a related financial/asset-based industry is preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time, depending on client portfolio and sales events.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written), influencing, and relationship-building skills.
• World-class negotiation skills with a proven track record of success.
• Strong customer focus with superior levels of customer satisfaction.
• Ability to negotiate with C-levels.
