Job Overview

As a Connectivity Solutions Architect at Ceragon, you will play a pivotal role in the conception, design, and implementation of extensive networking and connectivity solutions tailored for our clientele. Your primary focus will be on guaranteeing the superior performance, security, and scalability of our clients' networking infrastructures. Your proficiency in RF technologies, Spectrum management, transport and access methodologies, Layer 2 and Layer 3 communication protocols, IP addressing, MEF standards, and routing protocols will be crucial in delivering exceptional connectivity solutions.

Your responsibilities will include the integration of RF planning and Spectrum Analysis to devise efficient and resilient wireless networks.

Core Responsibilities:

Network Architecture and Design:

Spearhead the architecture and design of comprehensive network solutions, ensuring they meet client specifications and adhere to industry standards. Create detailed network schematics and documentation for deployment and troubleshooting purposes. Present proposed solutions to clients for input and refine designs to fulfill their needs.

Ethernet and IP Network Development:

Capable of analyzing and designing Ethernet and IP networks, including but not limited to:

Developing IP addressing strategies for both IPv4 and IPv6, incorporating Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking protocols to facilitate efficient and future-ready network designs. Select and configure routing protocols (e.g., BGP, IGMP, MPLS, VPLS, OSPF, ISIS) based on network specifications, ensuring effective data transmission and optimal performance. Knowledge of MEF (Metro Ethernet Forum), MPLS, Layer 3, and Segment Routing protocols among others.

Access Technologies:

Leverage expertise in access technologies, including Private LTE, 5G, WiFi, and LoRaWAN, to craft access networks that align with client requirements. Understand and define the most suitable access technologies and specifications for various industry sectors such as public safety, utilities, oil & gas, transportation, and enterprise.

Transport Networks:

Comprehend fiber optic networks and their roles within an end-to-end network solution. RF Planning and Spectrum Analysis: Familiarity with Microwave and Millimeterwave technologies and their applications in the context of a complete network solution. Conduct RF planning to enhance wireless network coverage and performance. Execute Spectrum Analysis to identify and mitigate interference, ensuring dependable and high-quality wireless connections.

Network Security:

Possess knowledge and capability to incorporate security measures to safeguard designed networks against cyber threats and unauthorized access. Remain informed about the latest security trends and technologies.

Communication Skills:

Assist in proposal preparation and client solution presentations. Participate in industry events and trade shows as necessary to showcase company solutions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, Networking) or equivalent professional experience. Demonstrated experience as a Network Solutions Architect or in a similar capacity with a strong focus on comprehensive network solutions. Experience with a system integrator to develop solutions utilizing a combination of internal and partner components. Industry certifications (e.g., CCNP, JNCIP) are highly preferred. Proficient in network design principles and practices, including IP addressing and architecture. Experience in Private LTE, 5G, and WiFi deployment design and implementation is essential. Experience in RF planning and Spectrum Analysis for wireless networks (Point-to-Point and Point-to-Multi Point). Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Bilingual in Spanish and English. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Willingness and ability to travel.
