Job Overview

As a Connectivity Solutions Architect at Ceragon, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and implementation of advanced networking solutions tailored to meet the diverse needs of our clients. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the performance, security, and scalability of networking infrastructures.

Your extensive knowledge in RF technologies, spectrum management, transport and access methodologies, as well as Layer 2 and Layer 3 communications, will be crucial in delivering exceptional connectivity solutions.

This position requires a deep understanding of RF planning and spectrum analysis to create efficient and resilient wireless networks.

Core Responsibilities:

Network Architecture and Solution Development:

Spearhead the architecture and design of comprehensive network solutions, ensuring they align with client specifications and industry standards. Create detailed network schematics and documentation to facilitate implementation and troubleshooting. Engage with clients to present solutions, gather feedback, and refine designs accordingly.

Ethernet and IP Network Engineering:

Demonstrate the ability to analyze and design Ethernet and IP networks, focusing on:

Developing IP addressing strategies for both IPv4 and IPv6, integrating Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols for efficient and future-ready network designs. Selecting and configuring routing protocols (e.g., BGP, IGMP, MPLS, VPLS, OSPF, ISIS) based on network requirements to ensure optimal data flow and performance. Implementing MEF standards, MPLS, Layer 3, and Segment Routing protocols, among others.

Access Technology Implementation:

Leverage expertise in access technologies, including Private LTE, 5G, WiFi, and LoRaWAN, to design networks that fulfill client demands. Assess and define the most suitable access technologies and requirements for various industry sectors such as public safety, utilities, oil & gas, transportation, and enterprise.

Transport Network Understanding:

Comprehend fiber optic networks and their roles within an end-to-end network architecture. RF Planning and Spectrum Management: Grasp Microwave and Millimeterwave technologies and their applications in comprehensive network solutions. Conduct RF planning to enhance wireless network coverage and efficiency. Execute spectrum analysis to detect and mitigate interference, ensuring dependable and high-quality wireless connections.

Network Security Integration:

Possess the knowledge and capability to incorporate security measures that safeguard designed networks against cyber threats and unauthorized access. Remain informed about the latest trends and technologies in network security.

Communication and Collaboration:

Assist in the preparation of proposals and presentations for client solutions. Participate in industry events and trade shows as necessary to showcase company solutions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, Networking) or equivalent professional experience. Demonstrated experience as a Network Solutions Architect or in a similar capacity with a strong focus on end-to-end network solutions. Experience with system integration to develop solutions utilizing a combination of internal and partner components. Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNP, JNCIP) are highly valued. Proficient in network design principles and practices, including IP addressing and architecture. Essential experience in designing and implementing Private LTE, 5G, and WiFi deployments. Background in RF planning and spectrum analysis for wireless networks (Point-to-Point and Point-to-Multi Point). Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Proficient in both Spanish and English. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to travel as required.
