We're seeking a driven and entrepreneurial individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our North American division, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining exceptional customer service and ensuring quality service.

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining efficient communication with customers to resolve any issues with their orders during the manufacturing process.
  • Collecting information from service departments to recognize the status of orders.
  • Responding to customer requests within the established response time.
  • Processing special customer requests, including accelerations, changes, updates, routing, stock controls, and holds.
  • Communicating with customers via various channels.
  • Assisting production staff in translating special order instructions.
  • Coordinating shipping methods with the logistics department for special orders.
  • Monitoring and following up on overdue orders to ensure their closure.
  • Approving or denying shipments according to stock availability and the workload of the production department.
  • Updating the system with the status of the latest orders.
  • Coordinating and resolving order entry problems with the customer service and service departments.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • At least one year of experience in a similar position.
  • A high school or university degree.
  • Advanced office domain knowledge.
