Job OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Basis Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our Enterprise Cloud Services organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the 24x7 availability of SAP systems running in our private cloud offering. This role requires strong technical expertise in SAP NetWeaver, Linux, and Windows operating system platforms, as well as experience in managing technical documentation.
Responsibilities- Respond to, troubleshoot, and resolve alerts and incidents
- Provide guidance on release strategy and knowledge transfer to distributed operations teams
- Streamline standard operating procedures through automation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality services
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technologies Management
- Solid know-how on SAP Technologies and NetWeaver certification is highly beneficial
- Experience in at least one non-NetWeaver technology: BOBJ, SAP Mobile, Convergent Charging, OpenText, HANA XSA, etc.
- Strong capabilities in technical documentation and excellent analytical and solution-oriented thinking
- Very good communication and networking skills, with a strong customer service focus
- 12+ years' experience as a Technical SAP NetWeaver engineer on L3 or higher-level operations/support teams
