About the Role
Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sales Planning Manager to join our team. As a key member of the Worldwide Commercial Sales (WWCS) organization, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and revenue expansion.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of sales strategies that drive goal attainment for the Global Startups Segment Sales organization. This includes defining and refining sales processes, procedures, and policies, as well as identifying and eliminating bottlenecks to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and adopt sales goals owned at the AWS leadership level
- Manage the goals mechanism across the annual lifecycle
- Own gap to goals analyses
- Create and scale sales strategies that drive goal attainment
- Drive cross-pollination of best practices across business segments
- Manage and influence diverse stakeholders through a planning virtual team, crafting recommendations that inform senior leaders and champion operational efficiency
About the Team
The WWCS Sales Strategy, Operations, & Enablement (SSOE) team is building the future of sales. We operate with a startup mentality, build mechanisms that scale, and innovate solutions on behalf of our global Amazon Web Services (AWS) customers.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of Microsoft Excel experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.
- Experience defining, refining, and implementing sales processes, procedures, and policies or equivalent
- Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools
- Experience presenting to senior leadership
