Senior Director, Delivery Leadership
We are seeking an experienced Senior Director, Delivery Leadership to join our Commercial Engineering team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for defining the strategic direction for delivery operations, including setting long-term goals and defining product delivery models. You will also lead and manage teams responsible for the delivery of products or services, including hiring, training, and performance management.

- Define Strategy: Establish the strategic direction for delivery operations, including setting long-term goals and defining product delivery models.
- Leadership and Team Management: Lead and manage teams responsible for the delivery of products or services, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal Product Teams, understanding their needs and ensuring that the delivery meets or exceeds their expectations.
- Alignment with Business Objectives: Ensure that delivery strategies are aligned with the broader business objectives of the company, such as revenue targets and customer satisfaction goals.
- Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve delivery processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including internal Product customers, team members, and senior management, to ensure transparency and buy-in for delivery strategies.
- Innovation: Encourage innovation in service delivery methods to stay competitive and meet changing market demands.
- Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of delivery operations and make data-driven decisions.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks to delivery timelines, budgets, or quality, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Financial Management: Oversee the budget for delivery operations, including forecasting, resource allocation, and cost control.
About You
You are a fit for this role if your background includes:
- Education: A bachelor's degree in business, management, computer science, engineering, or a related field. A master's degree, such as an MBA, is a plus.
- Experience: 10+ years' experience in project management, program management, or a related field is essential.
- Management Skills: Proven ability to manage and lead teams, including hiring, training, and performance management, is critical.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and to translate strategic goals into actionable plans.
- Program/Project Management: Coordinate management of multiple projects, align and optimize resources, manage stakeholders, and ensure that projects contribute toward the overall business goals and objectives.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Proficiency in identifying problems, analyzing potential solutions, and making decisions that align with the strategic goals of the organization.
- Technical Skills: An understanding of software development life cycles and Agile methodology.
- Certifications: Professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or other industry-specific certifications can be advantageous.
