About the Role

The Accounts Payable Specialist II is a key position within Uber Freight, responsible for resolving carrier invoice discrepancies and building shipments. This role requires strong analytical skills to identify the root cause of issues and work with internal and external parties to escalate and resolve them.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resolve carrier invoice discrepancies using Uber Freight guidelines and customer business rules.
  • Create shipments for non-managed freight based on customer-specific requirements.
  • Provide support to Operations on financial issues related to customer accounts.
  • Deliver cost savings and cost containment to customers and Uber Freight.
  • Correspond with Operations, Procurement, and Carrier Pricing on rating and accessorial invoice discrepancies.
  • Maintain up-to-date customer business rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Use JIRA to file tickets for identified issues surrounding invoice resolution.
  • Setup new customer and vendor locations in the TMS, leveraging knowledge of customer business practices.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Payable.
  • Advanced English language skills.
  • Intermediate Excel skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Oracle knowledge.
