Senior Sales Strategy Analyst

Zendesk is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Sales Strategy Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Go To Market (GTM) organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies that drive revenue and profitability.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales strategy, analytics, and business intelligence, with the ability to analyze complex data and make strategic recommendations. You will work closely with sales leadership to analyze business performance, identify future roadblocks, and present strategic recommendations to GTM leadership for decision making and investment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business performance to identify areas for improvement and develop strategic recommendations to drive revenue and profitability
- Work closely with sales leadership to develop and implement sales strategies that align with business objectives
- Conduct market analysis and competitor research to identify growth opportunities and develop strategic recommendations
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and product teams
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in sales strategy and analytics
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in sales strategy, analytics, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make strategic recommendations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proficient in CRM and data analytics/modeling tools, with a strong understanding of SQL
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
