Account Manager Role

The Account Manager will oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients, and identify new sales opportunities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Establishing relationships with clients and prospects to secure new business.
  • Managing client accounts and understanding client needs to strategize with team members.
  • Building and developing long-term strategic partnerships with global merchants.
  • Identifying new sales opportunities within existing accounts to broaden services offered.
  • Maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organizations to generate interest from potential clients.
  • Providing regional expertise to the sales team.
  • Helping structure, implement, and manage growth-related operational strategies and processes.
Requirements

We seek a talented individual with:

  • 4+ years of sales experience, preferably in a technology company, with a track record of top performance.
  • Proven experience as an Account Manager or Business Development professional.
  • Experience in payments or other financial systems is a plus.
  • Proven success partnering and working cross-functionally to make things happen.
  • Established business network and ability to communicate with key stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to juggle multiple account management projects and maintain attention to detail.
  • Team player with excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Fluent in English and able to travel internationally.
