The Issue Management Officer is a key role in the Commercial and Business Sales department, responsible for facilitating communication and coordination between managed businesses and the organization. This position plays a crucial part in effective issues management, ensuring timely escalation, alignment to global/local policies, and resolution.
Job PurposeThe primary purpose of this role is to provide expert support to Business Managers in issue management, leveraging expertise and resources to drive compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations. This involves analyzing complex issues, identifying root causes, and developing recommendations for improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Support Business Managers in issue management, providing guidance on regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Develop and implement processes to improve business performance, enhancing productivity, efficiency, and risk management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Analyze and interpret data to inform business decisions, using metrics to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the issue management process.
- 5-8 years of experience in control and/or project management, with a focus on regulatory compliance and risk management.
- Proven ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with experience in data analysis and visualization.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development, staying up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements.
$60,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
