We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team at Hsbc in the role of Chief Administration Office Manager.

This position will participate in business activities, supporting senior managers with day-to-day and non-routine tasks, cyclical work pieces such as annual reporting and short-term initiatives. They will be located in business administration teams and report to a senior manager, with the possibility of having direct reports.

This job is not client-facing and does not involve managing portfolios. Employees in this role are expected to possess knowledge of financial budgeting, strategic planning, communication, and people management processes within the context of the business area they are located in.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the execution of business initiatives and activities in support of business area objectives.
  • Participating and supporting in business planning activities, which may include financial, technological, and resource planning.
  • Contributing to senior management decision-making by using management information, performance data, analytics, forums, and stakeholder feedback.
  • Supporting in forums and committees to represent the view of the business area.
  • Supporting the development and monitoring of internal governance activities.
  • Investigating and seeking remedies for discrete issues that may be adversely affecting business unit performance.
  • Evaluating and analyzing management information relating to external service providers, monitoring their performance, and ensuring service level agreements are honored.
