Job Summary

We're seeking a People Operations leader to support our [Department Name] department in our Austin office and champion our People First philosophy. The ideal candidate will have a passion for ensuring every employee feels supported and has access to a highly engaged and fun culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner strategically with managers and leaders to analyze key trends and metrics and develop solutions to ensure a People first strategy.
  • Build strong relationships with Arrive's management, understanding their business and team, identifying areas of strength and opportunity, and defining creative solutions.
  • Execute team organizational design and performance metrics, including succession management, talent assessment, leadership competencies, and development planning.
  • Provide top-tier employee relations support, investigating concerns, recommending resolutions, and monitoring results.
  • Execute disciplinary actions, including performance plans, employee warnings, and terminations, while leading through complex employee relations issues.
  • Partner with the Employee Success team and outside partners to ensure alignment and execution of human capital initiatives.
  • Advocate for a positive employee experience and create culture-building opportunities across the organization.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and collaborate on improvements that enhance the employee's and/or manager's experience.
  • Ensure all leaves and work-related issues are properly handled and records are maintained.
  • Research and maintain Mexico employment and compliance updates, partnering with retained employment counsel as needed.
  • Collaborate with management, the Employee Success team, and cross-functional leaders to devise and implement strategies that further business results and team performance.
  • Serve as a point of contact for HR policies, benefits, payroll, PTO requests, team updates, and other questions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of Human Resources experience, with demonstrated knowledge of Mexico labor law.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on change management.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
