About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to join our team at Hillenbrand. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for executing sales strategies and plans to achieve revenue targets for our products and related projects in the assigned region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to capture market share and drive growth in the assigned region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, as well as engineering and procurement contractors.
  • Manage the sales pipeline, forecasting, and tracking sales performance, and reporting on key metrics to senior management.
  • Negotiate and close sales contracts and agreements, ensuring alignment with company policies, profitability targets, and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with project management and process engineering teams to ensure smooth project execution, timely delivery, and customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and expand the company's network within the region.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales of technical products within the plastic industry, business development, or account management within plastics or related markets.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to negotiate and close sales contracts.
  • Excellent analytical problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of the plastic industry and its trends, with the ability to develop and implement sales strategies.
  • Ability to travel within the region and abroad, with a minimum of 80% travel required.
