About the Role:

Dyno Nobel is a global leader in the commercial explosives industry, providing innovative blasting solutions and quality explosives products throughout North America, Australia, and selected customers in the Asia Pacific.

We are seeking a skilled Labor Relations Specialist to join our team in Mexico. As a key member of our labor relations team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable Company HSE performance standards, as well as applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with Company HSE performance standards and applicable regulations
  • Execute labor relations policies, practices, and agreements
  • Act according to DN ethical and legal framework, Mexican job regulations, and the Labor Union Contract
  • Train and provide orientation to managers and supervisors on labor relations policies, practices, and agreements
  • Responsible for labor relations documentation and reports
  • Keep abreast of labor laws and collective bargaining
  • Verify proper personnel payment and execution of policies and procedures
  • Improve personnel KPIs related to labor relations
  • Promote a healthy work environment

Requirements:

  • BS Degree in HR, Business, or administrative field experience
  • 1-3 years in labor relations, Union claims, and negotiations
  • Understanding of Labor Union Contracts
  • Experience with collective bargaining agreements
  • Administration of benefits and compensation
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal
  • Ability to negotiate and set agreements to achieve the best possible outcome for the Organization
  • Decision-making ability
  • Ability to demonstrate and maintain focus under pressure
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish and English)
