About the Role:
As a Senior Logistics Manager, you will play a critical role in Amazon's Last Mile operations, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of customer orders. You will lead a team of Process Assistants and Delivery Service Partners (DSPs) in the daily management of the delivery station, including meetings, training sessions, assigning job duties, and communicating with DSPs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and motivate a team of leaders to achieve operational excellence and drive business results.
- Develop and implement contingency plans to mitigate against disruptions and ensure seamless operations.
- Drive initiatives to boost quality, safety, and productivity, and serve as a source of accountability and a business-wide champion of best practice.
- Collaborate with support functions to implement change management and site improvement initiatives.
- Connect with associates daily to address barriers and ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
About the Team:
You will be based at one of Amazon's operational sites, working closely with a team of leaders to drive business results and achieve operational excellence. This role requires a strong understanding of Last Mile operations and the ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve business objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
- 7+ years of general experience.
- Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and verbal.
- 5+ years of employee and performance management experience.
