Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Account Manager to join our team at dLocal. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of assigned customers, developing new business from existing clients, and actively seeking new sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Establish relationships with clients and prospects to identify opportunities for new business growth.
- Manage a variety of client accounts, understanding client needs and strategizing with team members to meet those needs.
- Build and develop long-term strategic partnerships with global merchants.
- Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts to broaden the scope of services offered to existing clients.
- Maintain personal networks, participate in professional organizations, attend conferences and industry events, and develop other means of generating interest from potential clients.
- Collaborate with our sales team as a regional expert.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of growth-related operational strategies and processes.
- 4+ years of sales experience, preferably at a technology company, with a track record of top performance.
- Proven experience as an Account Manager or Business Development professional.
- Experience in payments or other financial systems is a plus.
- Proven success partnering and working cross-functionally to drive results.
- Established a relevant business network.
- Ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
- Flexibility and proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time.
- Team player with excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Fluent in English is a must.
- Able to travel internationally.
