We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager Global Technology Consumption to join our team at Takeda. This role will be responsible for the financial execution and operations of the consumption model for global Data, Digital & Technology.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive consumption model for global Data, Digital & Technology, including forecasting, cost control, and reporting.
- Collaborate with counterparts to support the global Data, Digital & Technology function, ensuring clear visibility into operational and project budgets, forecasts, and actual performance.
- Ensure accurate technical accounting of all spend and compliance with all relevant Takeda policies.
- Partner with the Head of Technology Consumption, global Finance Business Partners, Platform and Service Owners, Procurement and other key stakeholders to find opportunities for improving vendor contracting and optimizing technology spend.
- Drive and improve planning process for DD&T consumption, including definition and improvement of metrics, volumes and service definitions, contracts and alignment between multiple stakeholders.
- Previous management experience in a pharmaceutical or healthcare setting is desired.
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated business impact in previous roles.
- Proficient at communicating effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Envision strategy and drive cost management discipline through influence.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent people skills enabling effective and respectful communication of technical concepts to people with varying levels of comfort with technical ideas.
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, including well-rounded coursework in other disciplines.
- At least 8 years of overall business experience, with a minimum of 5 years in financial planning and analysis roles.
- Proficiency writing and speaking in the English language is mandatory. Japanese, Chinese or German a plus.
This role will be based in MEX - Santa Fe and will require collaboration with global teams.
