Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and target accounts that align with the national account criteria.
  • Formulate strategies that enable Stryten Energy to engage national clients with a cohesive sales and service approach.
  • Act as the main liaison for the field by conducting personal sales visits, addressing concerns, and relaying information about designated national accounts.
  • Ensure comprehensive account coverage through collaboration with OEM and Regional Managers, along with internal support personnel.
  • Establish and uphold compliance with National Accounts pricing and procedural guidelines, serving as the primary coordinator for these accounts.
  • Assist in customizing products and services to meet the specific needs of national accounts.
  • Help manage working capital, including overdue accounts receivable.
  • Operate within an acceptable sales-to-expense ratio.
  • Monitor and report on sales activities for assigned accounts.
  • Contribute to the creation of national sales tools.
  • Complete projects and reports promptly.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by leadership, which may include representing Stryten at industry events, training new national accounts managers, and presenting at sales meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education, Experience, Certifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in Major Accounts Sales.

Competencies, Skills, Knowledge

  • Strong sales management capabilities.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet applications.
  • Ability to nurture talent and motivate team members in a dynamic environment.
  • Proven track record of leadership, influencing decisions, and making a positive impact.
  • High energy, initiative, and results-driven orientation are necessary.
  • Progressively responsible career history with demonstrated success in territory sales or key account management.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills to navigate complex sales processes.
  • Ability to effectively utilize CRM tools for managing opportunities and tracking project outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the National Account team to implement the National Account strategy and programs within the region.
  • Strategic selling abilities, effective negotiation skills, and a commitment to customer satisfaction are required. Knowledge of the Transportation sector is advantageous.
  • Collaborative work style that encourages idea sharing and creative problem-solving across the Stryten sales organization.
  • Resourcefulness, creativity, and exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Technical proficiency with standard business software and the Internet.
  • Integrity, teamwork orientation, and a strong desire to exceed expectations are paramount.

Travel Requirements

  • Estimated overnight travel for this position is between 65% and 75%.
