The Opportunity

Ortho Clinical Diagnostics is a world-leading in vitro diagnostics company, and we are seeking an experienced Government Business Development Manager. This individual will play a critical role in identifying new business opportunities and developing strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in the government sector.

The Responsibilities

  1. Analyze the government business environment and identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
  2. Develop and implement business plans to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the government sector.
  4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and execute sales strategies.
  5. Participate in the development of annual sales operation plans (AOP) and provide input on sales targets and strategies.
  6. Provide market intelligence and competitive analysis to inform sales strategies and business planning.
  7. Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

The Individual

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales and business development, with a focus on the government sector.
  • Proven track record of success in identifying new business opportunities and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop strategic recommendations.
  • Fluent English language skills.
