The Opportunity
Ortho Clinical Diagnostics is a world-leading in vitro diagnostics company, and we are seeking an experienced Government Business Development Manager. This individual will play a critical role in identifying new business opportunities and developing strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in the government sector.
The Responsibilities
- Analyze the government business environment and identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Develop and implement business plans to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the government sector.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and execute sales strategies.
- Participate in the development of annual sales operation plans (AOP) and provide input on sales targets and strategies.
- Provide market intelligence and competitive analysis to inform sales strategies and business planning.
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
The Individual
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in sales and business development, with a focus on the government sector.
- Proven track record of success in identifying new business opportunities and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop strategic recommendations.
- Fluent English language skills.
