About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Training and Development Manager to lead our training initiatives in Canada, US, and Mexico.

This role will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior leaders to ensure that training objectives align with business strategies and performance improvement targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement training plans to mitigate risks related to legal and Federal rules
  • Plan and deliver training for all functions in Mexico and support business strategies and performance improvement targets
  • Identify yearly training requirements and provide cost-effective solutions to meet business strategies
  • Manage the planning processes for the delivery of initial training, certification training, recurrent training, and skill upgrade of new hires and existing employees
  • Manage budgets and prepare financial reports for Mexico operations
  • Develop training plans with strategic partners and training providers
  • Manage the entry of training records into the training system for client groups
  • Ensure consistency in training design for the function
  • Improve training processes in the area of responsibility

Requirements

  • University degree or diploma in Adult Education
  • 3 or more years of hands-on experience in T&E
  • 2 or more years of instructional experience
  • 5 or more years of management experience (preferably in the Railway)
  • English proficiency

Estimated Salary

$120,000 - $180,000 per year
