Cosmetics Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cosmetics Business Development Manager to join our team at Suanfarma, SA. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing new business opportunities, and managing existing customer relationships in the cosmetics sector.
Main Responsibilities:
- Sales Promotion: Develop and implement sales strategies to increase sales and market share in the cosmetics sector.
- Customer Link: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers at all levels, including purchasing, logistics, and sales teams.
- Push Strategy: Maximize commodity sales and negotiate with suppliers to secure new items and improve pricing.
- Customer Visits and Meetings: Conduct regular customer visits and meetings to understand their needs and develop business opportunities.
- Planning of Impacts: Plan and execute visits and other impacts to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
- Exhibitions Presence: Develop and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers at exhibitions and trade shows.
- Sales Operations: Manage sales operations, including preparing and communicating with customers, instructing logistics teams, and ensuring timely and cost-effective shipping.
- Reporting: Use CRM software to track sales performance, customer interactions, and other key metrics.
- Forecasting and Budget: Prepare and manage budgets, forecast sales, and help define corporate stock policy.
- Degree in Chemistry or Pharmacy: A degree in chemistry or pharmacy is not mandatory, but a strong understanding of the cosmetics industry is essential.
- MBA: An MBA is a plus, but not required.
- Experience in Cosmetics Sector: At least 5-7 years of experience in the cosmetics sector in Mexico is required.
- Business Development Experience: Experience in business development, particularly in the cosmetics sector, is essential.
- Negotiation Skills: High negotiation skills are required to secure new business opportunities and negotiate with suppliers.
- Frustation Tolerance: A high tolerance for frustration is necessary to manage complex customer relationships and sales operations.
- Planning and Organization: Strong planning and organizational skills are required to manage multiple customer relationships and sales operations.
- Commercial Profile: A hunter commercial profile is essential to drive sales growth and develop new business opportunities.
- Teamwork and Autonomy: The ability to work independently and as part of a team is required to manage multiple customer relationships and sales operations.
